TERMS OF PAYMENT

ICELAND MOMENTS requires a 30% deposit of the total itinerary cost to confirm your booking.

When the booking is made less than six (6) weeks before the beginning of the program, the total amount has to be paid in full.

Payment for your experience can be made by credit card (Visa or MasterCard) or bank transfer.
Where payment is made by bank transfer in a foreign currency (EUR, GBP or USD), each payment (if there are multiple payments) is subject to the exchange rate provided by ICELAND MOMENTS on the issuing date of the invoice.

Please note that our payment terms may differ from what is stated above and is dependent on the itinerary and on our suppliers’ payment policies. You will be informed clearly before booking confirmation.


CANCELLATIONS FROM THE CLIENT

You or any member of your party may cancel your booking at any time providing that the cancellation is made in writing to ICELAND MOMENTS . You will receive a prompt refund of the amount paid (excluding any amendment charge if there are any) less the cancellation fees specified below: 


  • 5 weeks or more ahead of your set arrival date, 30% of the total trip amount will become credit towards a similar trip within 12 months of cancellation. The remaining 70% will be refunded.


  • 4 weeks or more ahead of your set arrival date, 50% of the total trip amount will become credit towards a similar trip within 12 months of cancellation. The Remaining 50% will be refunded.


  • Less then 4 weeks ahead of your arrival date. No credit or refund can be performed. However in case of family emergency or unexpected scenarios Iceland Moments will do it´s very best to redeem any cancellation cost from our partner hotels and activity operators and get as much credit as possible for a future trip, however nothing can be promised here.




Cancellation of one or more passengers within a group may cause a price increase for the group or a cancellation fee as detailed above.


We strongly recommend that all our clients take out comprehensive travel insurance. If the reason for your cancellation is covered under the terms of your insurance policy, you may be able to reclaim some or all of the cancellation charges.


AMENDMENTS BY THE CLIENT


We will do our best to assist you in amending your experience arrangements after booking, but cannot guarantee that this will be possible. You will be responsible for any charges (whether made by us or the suppliers of the various experience components) that result from such amendment.


CANCELLATIONS FROM ICELAND MOMENTS


ICELAND MOMENTS reserves the right to cancel any trip prior to departure for reasons that may include but are not restricted to unforeseen or unexpected equipment failure, adverse climatic conditions, road closures and other human or natural occurrences beyond ICELAND MOMENTS ’ control. 

Any trip cancelled by ICELAND MOMENTS as in the clause above will result in 100% of funds paid being refunded.


AMENDMENTS BY ICELAND MOMENTS


Due to the nature of our holidays it may be necessary for us to make changes to your itinerary, which we reserve the right to do at any time. Most of these changes are minor and we will advise you at the earliest possible date of any changes.


LIABILITY



In all arrangements involving third parties ICELAND MOMENTS act only as the agent of the Client and no liability of any kind whatsoever shall be attached to ICELAND MOMENTS in connection with or arising from such arrangement with a third party.
